House & Garden Tours
Five acres of established garden, a 1901 homestead, vineyard rows running to the ranges, and a working farm threaded through with regenerating native forest.
Walk it at your own pace, or let Wendy or Ross show you the parts you'd otherwise miss — the epiphytes overhead, the grasses left to do as they please, and the walnut tree everyone seems to remember afterwards.
Workshops
Decades of trial, error, and stubborn obsession, shared in a single afternoon. From growing ferns and orchids in the canopy of mature trees to building a kitchen garden that feeds the soil as much as the table, Welton's workshops hand over knowledge that took two lifetimes to gather.
Private Events
A homestead that has welcomed people for over a century, a garden at its most generous, and the Richmond Ranges standing watch over it all. Corporate functions, milestone birthdays, intimate gatherings — Welton House lends itself to occasions that deserve somewhere unrepeatable.
Film & Photography
Heritage architecture with a century of patina, botanical detail at every scale, vineyard rows that catch the light exactly when you need them to. Available by prior approval for film and photography projects that call for something real rather than reconstructed.
Stay
A few hundred metres from Welton's gate, Eliza's Garden Cottage waits among the vines — a private pool, a wood-fired hot tub, and Wendy's bread still warm on the counter. The easiest way to make a visit last longer than a day.
